wall Flowers

Last week was my spring break, so that meant that I had extra time on my hands to un-pack, decorate and D.I.Y.! I had this idea of hanging the (washi tape) skull above my mirror, but it alone looked bare. I thought that flowers on either side would be nice. Being that I am the type of person that won't buy anything I can make (not all the time, but often) I decided to make my own fake flowers (as the ones you buy can be pricey and I already had all these materials lying around-art teacher). I used crape paper, tissue paper, and construction paper, with hot glue gun, thick gage craft wire, and 2 wire hangers (for the armature). I started out using a flower pattern that I got from Studio DIY and then just made a few of my own too! I am so, so happy with how this turned out. Its fun to look at, and just a cheap/crafty way to add some pizzazz to your wall!
