![]() So as the whole country knows- Atlanta had a 'snow storm' that started Tuesday afternoon around 11:30. I was at work, until 2:30. We had a regular dismissal time, so as soon as the kids were gone, so was I. I do not work in a very good area of Atlanta and I was not about to get stranded there. Unfortunately, some of the teachers at my school did get stuck- or didn't make it home until the next morning. So I am VERY, VERY thankful that I made it home safe and sound. I did get down to 14 miles left in my gas tank, and started to worry- but luckily found a gas station and took back streets home. Despite all the chaos it has caused the city, we made the most of it. Tuesday night we hit the 'slopes' and got drinks with friends across the park. Yesterday Chris and I went out adventuring (had a little photo shoot) and grabbed some coffee. Thats the great thing about living in a neighborhood in the city- you can walk where ever you may need to go, and businesses stay open because they know they will make bank! Atlanta looks so beautiful under a blanket of snow. I will enjoy it while its here. Fingers crossed for one more snow day- as Monday is my b-day and this would make for the best early bday present! xoxo,
