![]() Today I wore my Modcloth Pencil dress to work. It is one of my favorite 'art teacher outfits' to wear. Everyone always thinks that I have made this dress, but sadly I am not that skilled (yet)! When I first got to school, and was walking to my morning duty, a 5th grade girl stopped and said "Hey Ms. Pencil, can I borrow that dress to take my test?!" (its CRCT {standardized} testing time currently here in Atlanta). Hehe, it made me chuckle, as normally all the kids call me Ms. P, and often forget what my REAL last name is. As I said, this dress is from Modcloth, as is my Apple purse. The striped tee is H&M and my boots are from target! If you scroll down I share my favorite kind of pencils to use! p.s.: taking pictures of yourself is always interesting. It is much easier when your photographer boyfriend is around. Today was not one of those days. P.S.S.: Happy 17th birthday to my l Favorite pencils for the classroom (click on link): Triconderoga Pencils w/o erasers (that way the kids can't fight over the ones with eraser!) Favorite pencils for personal use (click on link): Black Barrel Triconderoga (good for drawing) Papermate mechanical **** My current fav! Old school papermate mechanical For drawing Woodless colored pencils Branch and Twig colored pencils (too be cute :-D and the ones I got were from anthro and much more pricey) and Modcloth doesn't have this dress any more but they do have these pencil shoes and pencil socks! xoxo,
