Here is one of my go to casual, but not too casual outfits- great for a spring weekend! If you follow me on instagram, then you have seen these bow shoes before! I wear them often- as they SMELL like strawberries and are cute & comfy! I ordered them earlier this season from Modcloth, and they are still available on their site- check 'em out! Great for the pool. My top and bag are from Modcloth as well :) Clearly, I love Modcloth! My jeans are new this season too- they are from Gap and they are my new favorite pair to wear. SOOO comfy! I have never order from Gap's tall section before, as normally everything then is way to big for me everywhere else. But I have discovered that Gap is the perfect fit for us tall & slender ladies.
Jeans: Gap * (and I didn't pay $27 for mine- but these jeans are on sell right now!!! AND use the code TREAT to get 25% off your order!!!)
Necklace: Vintage (from chris' grandma)

Happy Tuesday ever'body!!!
until next time,
Hey guys~ Here is a SUPER EASY D.I.Y for you to do in 10 minutes, to create a whole new look for spring!
I have had this white lace dress from H&M for years and I finally thought of a way to breath new life into it. I bought the fabric spray paint pictured below from Tuesday Mornings for $2.99! I chose to use the neon pink spray paint to add an ombre effect to this dress. I started by taping up some paper behind the dress, and then started spraying on the bottom back side of the dress. The further up the dress I went, I backed away- to make the spray less intense, giving me that ombre' effect.
If you can't find this type of fabric spray at your local craft store (or don't want to order online), you could always just get a spray bottle (even a cleaned out old hair spray bottle) and DYE (like tye-dye) and apply the same type of way.
I showed you one way I would style it with details below!
shoes: Urban Outfitters
Dress: H&M D.I.Y Neon & Lace
Necklaces: H&M and Kate Spade Pencil Necklace
Last week was my spring break, so that meant that I had extra time on my hands to un-pack, decorate and D.I.Y.! I had this idea of hanging the (washi tape) skull above my mirror, but it alone looked bare. I thought that flowers on either side would be nice. Being that I am the type of person that won't buy anything I can make (not all the time, but often) I decided to make my own fake flowers (as the ones you buy can be pricey and I already had all these materials lying around-art teacher). I used crape paper, tissue paper, and construction paper, with hot glue gun, thick gage craft wire, and 2 wire hangers (for the armature). I started out using a flower pattern that I got from Studio DIY and then just made a few of my own too! I am so, so happy with how this turned out. Its fun to look at, and just a cheap/crafty way to add some pizzazz to your wall!
Here is an outfit that I wore one day last week. And its ALOT of purple. This outfit reminds me of the childerns book Purplicious - which is a book I totally love. I feel like this is the grown up version of Purplicious' outfit.
Anywho, these weenie dog pants are the ones that I made last summer. I like to call them my "Purple Pickle Pants". Every time I wear these I always get the craziest reaction from people. Usually, its that they can't believe I made them. Super easy todo! Give it a try!
I originally was going to wear this outfit with my cute thrift store find Jefferey Camphells but I ended up babysitting that day, so I went for something a little more practical with the Converse.
Ohhh, and my fun confetti nail polish is just from the dollar store!
