Here are the actual photos that Katie sent to me from the shoot at Salon Red a couple of weeks ago. Like I said before I think we all had so much fun doing this and is deffinatitley something Katie and I want to do more of together! I mean what girl doesn't like playing dress up and getting all dolled up?! ;)

Spring (& fall) in Atlanta is the BEST!!!! Soon it will be unbearably hot every morning day and night outside here in GA. Spring came really late this year it seems too, so I'm sure we only have a few short weeks of this really nice weather. 

My Vegas trip was soo much fun and I will have to do a post about that too. I surprisingly didn't take that many pictures while I was there- BUT I of course had really cute outfits picked out for the trip...

Anywho, work is CRAZY busy right now. After spring break, time flys by, however there is just oh soo much work to get done and the kids are just as much ready for summer time as I am :) BUT thats what the weekends are for! And boy did I enjoy mine this weekend. Saturday I woke up early and made a nice big breakfast and then spent the rest of the afternoon at the park. I have a spot near the swings where I like to tie Pickle up to a skinny tree and sit. Chris snuck up on me- literally! I was soo lost in my book that i did not hear him coming. We went to Rusan's for dinner and that was the first time I'd been there in I can not even remember how long. I don't ever eat sushi much being vegetarian but they have some good veggie options on the menu too! 

Today Chris and I went to the Sweetwater 420 festival. My older sisters best friends husband (haha) has a connection to sweetwater and can usually get me a couple of VIP armbands to the festival each year. And every year I think it gets better. They had hammocks and bingbangs to lounge on, the weather was perfect and we we basically front row to the stage. It was very relaxing!  Next weekend is the Inman park festival and its also my younger brother and sisters birthdays, so they are coming up to go to that with me and to celebrate their bdays!!!!

So yesterday I had a super fun day up at Salon Red with Katie and Shari. Katie needed a model for a test shoot for her class at the salon, and it worked out perfect being that I am on spring break. Katie did a beautiful job at braiding and twisting my hair into what made me feel like a vintage daisy queen! 

Honestly, we weren't quite as prepared as we should have been but Katie had a couple of photos for inspiration to go off of. Shari found some flowers (weeds) outside and we liked what I wore that day- just tied the shirt up! Lastly,  Shari gave me a vintage looking cat eye to add a little drama. Oh. and the name of the shoot was "Daisy Girl"....which if yuh didn't know is my favorite flower! 

All in all yesterday was a blast! Katie and I went and grabbed coffee at Octane afterwards, caught up and talked about how we would have to do stuff like that more often! Here are a few photos that Katie got on my iPhone. We will have to wait to see the real deal. 

Here are a few snapshots of mine and Jackie's living room. We live in an old high school in Atlanta that they cobverted into lofts. this is our second year here. Our home has made a huge tansformation sine our broke college days (always a work in progress). Our place is very colorful and filled with vintage nick-nacs! I will have to post more pictures later.

The bright blue desk I just adore! It's very old & heavy too. It was stained a dark wood color and almost a year ago now I painted it blue. It gave it a whole new life!
