![]() So if you know me well, you may know that I usually ALWAYS have some type of journal/sketchbook/notepad on me- and for the rare occasion that I have forgotten it- I will find something to write/draw on so I can remember whatever it is that has suddenly popped into my mind. Leaving my purse looking like a paper waste basket filled with random thoughts. In these collections of thoughts are lots and lots of list! Which seems rather strange to me. Most of the time I would like to think of myself as a free spirt, easy going- go with the flow type person, however- the reality is that in so many ways that isn't me. I think my job of being a teacher really made me become a much more ridged person who follows a plan & makes/lives by list and schedules. (However- summer has me feeling much more like my-free-spirited-self). OR maybe its just something that happens as you get older and take on more responsibilities. Anywho, my list aren't always todo list- sometimes playful or maybe reflective. I don't necessarily want to share any of my old list from the past (although I know I have some funny ones) but I thought moving forward on occasion I could share a list on here. My list can get long, so for now we will keep it to 5. I'm going to do: 5 things I'm currently LOVING! (1.) Swedish Hasbeens . Seriously the most comfortable shoes ever!!! To be so cute anyways. Yes, they are clog like- but they ARE Swedish ;) They are made from 100% wood & leather, but are carved perfectly to your feet. You will drop anywhere between $100- $200 for a pair. However, if you are a working lady who has to be up on your feet all day it is worth the investment- I promise you won't regret it! I bought two this summer- a red and yellow pair (its the only thing Ive worn all summer). I forsure want to get a black pair before I go back to work and maybe one other fun color- we will see! (2.) LORDE. So I think I have already worn this record out this summer....So good (3.) Having two weenies around the house is better than one winnie :) ![]() (4.) My new Journal and feeling soo inspired! I picked up the journal just two weeks ago out shopping with Sarah at Young Blood Galley & Boutique here in ATL. It is made from an old school book. You can even see where names were written in it. They had a wide variety, with all different sizes and subjects. The inside pages are blank- with no lines! (I HATE writing in notebooks with lined paper- and when I have to I usually just ignore them.) The one I got has random pages from the children's story mixed through out. I'm sharing a few pages below. I'm already almost 1/2 through it- I've just been feeling so inspired lately. ![]() (5.) Drinking coffee in bed every morning......and late night blogging!!! (I am not looking forward having to pretend to be a morning a person again before the end of this month- #butthankfultohaveajob ) |
