Here are my favorite outfits from this past week! Planning out my outfits had been a 'hobby' of mine since I was in middle school. I used to write down my outfits in my agenda so I could remember what I wore when. I will be honest to say that I was heavily influenced by Clueless (the movie), Lizzie McGuire (Disney show) & Ren Stevens (from Even Stevens- also Disney). Some days I do not care how I look and it's all I can do to get up that early and get to work on time, so having a few cute outfits picked out on Sunday night helps with thoes mornings (but some days it's just a lost cause).
The top outfit is from last weekend when Chris and I went to go see Sister Act at the Fox Theater. My white eyelet dress is from urban outfitters, yellow tights Target, my shoes from Walmart and the Kelly green bag is Tommy Hilfiger.
The second outfit is what I wore to work on a casual day (being art teacher and making messes all day I feel like I can get away with it- some days). Black skinny jeans BDG from Urban Outfitters, stripped tee- h&m, polka dot jean shirt-target, my necklace is from a boutique called Squash Blossom in Decatur, GA and the white shoes are a DIY project I did with my little sister but from Urban Outfitters.
The last outfit the shirt and skirt are both from Old Navy. I put a black tank underneath and tucked the blue shirt into the skirt. All of the necklaces are vintage and my shoes are from target. Toe polish is Essie.
So a couple of weeks ago for my spring break, I met my best friend Leanna (who lives in San Franscico) & a few of her friends in Vegas! The weather was PERFECT- the whole time. It was so wonderful to get away and lay by a pool (& all the other stuff too)! I will admitt that Vegas was a lot to take in at once- there is just soo much & soo many people and over the top EVERYTHING! However, I am so excited to be able to go back in September for a friends wedding for a long weekend- to have some more fun!
Here are a few of the outfits I packed for this trip. I was there Thursday-Sunday. I found some really great vintage finds the day befor I left- like the chevron, sequin dress.
I carried EVERYTHING in my round vintage suit case and Kate Spade bag. (Hard to believe - but true)! When I travel, I try to plan out all my outfits and the different ways everything can be worn. Then I take a picture of it on my phone to help me remember my options (I love options and versatility). I recently found the best app in the world ever for this kind of thing but I need to do some more playing around and then I'll share about on here!
